SpookySo
Custom showcase and booking website for an independent tattoo artist. Pulsar (PHP 8.5), four languages (FR/NL/DE/EN), a five-step appointment request and 48-hour flash reservations; deposit paid by SEPA transfer, offline.
SpookySo is the studio of Sophie Guiot, an independent tattoo artist in Andenne (The Backrooms Studio). In 2026 she launched her business and needed a site that matched her identity, dark and elegant, able to handle appointment requests and flash sales without weighing down her days at the needle.
Design and develop the site end to end, in four languages (FR, NL, DE, EN), with one constraint set from the start: online booking, but no online payments, the deposit is paid by SEPA transfer. I also shot the photographs of the artist, in a dedicated session.
A custom site on Pulsar (PHP 8.5) and PostgreSQL, with localised addresses per language. The heart is a five-step appointment request that frames the tattoo project before the first conversation, protected against spam and followed by confirmation emails in the visitor's language. Flashes are reserved piece by piece from a dedicated board: each reservation holds the design for 48 hours, long enough to pay the deposit, then the piece frees itself automatically. Around it, a portfolio filterable by style, six styles each documented on their own page, an FAQ with structured data and local pages for Namur and Huy.
A four-language site that filters and frames requests before the first message, flashes that can be reserved with no commission and no online payments to operate, and one consistent image from the site to the photos, with a single contact. Sophie says it herself in her review: she is as proud to show her photos as her brand-new site.
