On the field

Mountain biking is the ground-level counterpart to the rest: trails ridden and descended for the sheer flow of it.

Confident rather than expert, I ride the region’s trails to know them by feel, which is its own kind of scouting.

What the discipline teaches: knowing a trail network from the saddle, judging a descent, and covering ground a car cannot.

Where and how

Regional trails and forest paths, ridden in the seasons that suit them.

What it brings to your productions

Practising these terrains is what makes the location work reliable: knowing where a camera sits, where an athlete can pass, and what is realistic before a crew is booked.
