On the field
Urbex is my quiet habit: exploring and documenting places the world has left behind, out of plain curiosity about what a building holds once everyone has gone.
Some of it is named public heritage, like the Lessive earth station, and some is left deliberately unnamed. The camera is the point, not the trophy: I take pictures, nothing else.
What the discipline teaches: reading a derelict structure for what is safe, finding light in a dead space, and documenting a location without disturbing it.
Where and how
Abandoned structures and public heritage sites. Fragile locations stay unnamed on purpose, shared on request, so they stay fragile a while longer.
