Parkour

Crossing the urban space through movement, running, jumping, climbing.

On the field

Parkour, for me, lives mostly in industrial and abandoned settings: it is how I reach and move through the places urbex opens up.

Crossing a space by movement alone, running, climbing, dropping, teaches a body where it can and cannot go. Years of it are what make an exposed line readable rather than reckless.

What the discipline teaches: moving safely on unbuilt terrain, judging a takeoff and a landing, and finding the way up or across that a crew can follow.

Where and how

Urban space and industrial sites, read for movement rather than for looks. The how of choosing them sits on the locations page.

Spot types and access notes are listed on the locations map, not here.

What it brings to your productions

Practising these terrains is what makes the location work reliable: knowing where a camera sits, where an athlete can pass, and what is realistic before a crew is booked.
